TEACHERS’ SELF-EFFICACY BELIEFS AND OPINIONS ABOUT DISTANCE EDUCATION DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

This study investigated teaching self-efficacy beliefs and opinions about distance education of teachers in Turkey who switched to during the COVID-19 pandemic. 758 from completed an online questionnaire comprising demographic information questions, likert type scale items on for education, closed-ended questions addressing teachers’ open-ended question enabling express their experiences with education. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, independent samples t-tests, content analysis. The showed that own abilities fulfilling requirements such as organizing effective learning environments preparing different evaluation activities were not at a high level. they received, active use technology before pandemic period school work have effects towards low number students attending live classes negatively affected motivation. Furthermore, thought current instructional materials platform sufficient be successful. However, believed increased efficiency Most participants received support administration, but parents this period. Students’ lack computers and/or internet systemic errors among main problems encountered by regarding system. In study, suggestions made make more effective.
